The Answer begins with YOU and ME

We must get back to the fundamental building blocks of our faith or (as George Barna puts it):

The Seven Passions of Revolutionaries:

Intimate Worship
Every believer was expected to worship God every day, both in private and in the company of other believers. This did not require a "worship service"; it only required expression of gratitude for His Love and authority, acknowledgement of His control and power and to simply enjoy His relationship with us.

Faith-Based Conversations
It is natural to talk about or promote things that excite us. Nothing should excite us more than the fact that God loves us and wants an intimate relationship with us. The early evangelistic efforts were carried out through preaching, prayer and low key/high impact conversations about truth and purpose.

Intentional Spiritual Growth
We should exhibit a remarkable attitude toward life and people and acknowledge the presence of the supernatural in our everyday adventures. The early believers placed their faith at the center of their lives and got their sense of meaning, purpose and direction from their connection to God and His commands.

Servanthood
Love is more than a feeling; it becomes a tangible reality when it is shared with other people through acts of selfless service. The early church fostered the notion that serving other people was the best way to demonstrate the example that Jesus had set for them.

Resource Investment
Because we own nothing in this life, it is best to wisely invest the resources we manage for the One who is the true owner of all things. Early Christians shared everything that they had& money, food, clothing, housing, relationships, influence, skills, time - for the benefit of all believers.

Spiritual Friendships
The 'Church' (a body of people, not a building) should be all about relationships. The friends of Jesus became friends with each other and discussed their mutual admiration of Christ in their get-togethers. These friendships provided not only encouragement, but also accountability for spiritual integrity.

Family Faith
Christian families taught the ways of God in their homes every day. Parents were models of Spirit-led lifestyle for their children, and families were to make their home a sanctuary for God. In a very real sense, the home was the early church.

It is the persistent exercise of these seven passions that made the early church and will make you and I change agents/revolutionaries for the Kingdom of God. Revolutionaries are NOT perfect people and are often not always the best example of genuine Christian behavior. But we are obsessed with changing into just that.

The Core

Creating environments where people are equipped and encouraged to boldly express their faith in Jesus Christ.
