War in the Woods


Built around a souped up version of capture the flag, complete with water balloons and flower bombs, this weekend retreat is great for building unity in your group as well as teaching them about the spiritual war that is going on around them.

War in the Woods provides a wonderful opportunity for your group to get to know each other better, create life-long memories, but most importantly, as a platform to teach students about the spiritual war that is raging for their life. John 10:10 tells us that, "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly."

The Bible study during the weekend takes an in depth look at this passage and explains the reality of the war that we are in, but emphasizes that we are to fight with the confidence that the battle has already been won through Jesus Christ.

3)The Solders Reward

There is follow-up devotional material that accompanies this retreat, as well as notes that you may use for your next teaching lesson after returning home.

War in the Woods does not take place at any one specific location and can be easily done anywhere that there is space to run and hide! This is a super flexible event and can be accomplished with very little resources.
